Happy Valentines Day!

Major design dilemma!

Ok, so its not really that major. I really want to paint a pattern on one wall of my "den", aka mom cave, aka office. Back in September I painted the walls this color and I LOVE it! Grays are so tricky to get the shade right since they often take on different personalities in different lights blah blah blah.

My original plan was to do this painted wallpaper. BUT, Emily traced and painted this by hand and I just do not have that kind of time. (Emily has 4 kids. I don't know how she did either!) I love it so much though!

So I found these wall stencils that will give me the same effect but which one to choose???

Snowed In...

We are on Day 2 of being snowed in...or should I say "iced in". The street in front of our house is one big sheet of ice. I don't plan on getting out anytime soon. So what do we do when were stuck inside on this frigid day?

Photo shoot of course! How awesome is my new camera? Its the Canon T2i incase you're wondering. I would highly recommend this model if you're in the market for a DSLR.
